This part of the season has been a mix of the traditional “whole of club” training, while incorporating specific grade, colts and physical performance sessions. I have been impressed by the level of buy-in and commitment from the players.

Sadly we advise that SDRC Life Member Ken Sadler passed away aged 90 a few days after suffering a stroke on Christmas Day.

We would like you all to meet Grant Skelton. He’s a local, just like many of you.

Grant has a long history with Southern Districts Rugby Club and in January, will take on a new role as our Commercial General Manager.

After the first proper season in 3 years came to a close, there was no rest for the wicked for the men at Forshaw. The season saw a group of 55 men endure countless lessons that measure one's character, and in season 2023 these men are out for redemption and consolidation of those lessons learnt.

To many of you this is the rugby “off-season”, but at Southern Districts there has been an incredible amount of work going on behind the scenes. We have a dedicated group of people determined to see Souths return to a more familiar place in the Sydney Premier Rugby competition.

As 2022 draws to a close, full attention is now being focused on how to create a premiership winning Colts program for 2023.

And just like that the 2022 season draws to a close. Well not for all – our mighty Fourth Grade are flying the club flag proudly into the finals.
