A New Year approaches as does a familiar face!

We would like you all to meet Grant Skelton. He’s a local, just like many of you.

Grant has a long history with Southern Districts Rugby Club and in January, will take on a new role as our Commercial General Manager.

Fresh out of high school and in our inaugural year, Grant began playing at the club on day 1 of the merger. Our Club Captain during much of the 1990's, his long playing career included every grade in the club.

Although Grant has formal qualifications in hospitality management his professional career has been spent in commercial shipping both here and overseas. He lived and worked abroad in Denmark, Belgium and New Zealand for 9 years before settling back into local life.

Grant brings energy, focus and strong business acumen along with a passion for rugby and sport within our great community.

He comes with plenty of connections in the local area and his two sons play at Burraneer Junior Rugby Club. A family man, he is also proudly linked to North Cronulla SLSC and is a keen sailor.

Welcome Grant. We are delighted to have you back and in a new role at the club.
